Over the last few years, led by Judy Maxwell and Alix Yule, we have reviewed with the membership via our Newsletters and at the AGMs the progress in getting our Lake Plan integrated into the new Official Pan that the Town of Huntsville has been preparing. This has been a protracted process in working with the Town but it now appears that it is coming to a conclusion with the new Town Plan targeted for finalization in the Spring.
Our goal in this has been to have the Town include in their Official Plan some of the key elements from our Fox Lake Plan that was developed a number
of years ago. In order to do this we are required to sumit two documents to the Town:
1. A Lake Plan Justification Report for the Fox Lake Plan
2. The Land Use Provisions for Fox Lake based on the Fox
Lake Plan
The first document provides the the rationale for inclusion in the official Town Plan and the second document outlines the provisions we would like included.
For your review we have added these two documents to the Fox Lake Association website under the 'Fox Lake Plan' section. If you have any suggestions or comments we would ask that you forward them to the FLA email address by November 20th. Our goal is to submit the two documents to the Town before the end of this month.
