FOX LAKE PLAN UPDATE

A lot of research and writing has been underway since last fall, and at a meeting on the long May weekend, the Fox Lake Association Board and Lake Plan Committee reviewed the latest draft with our consultant, Jack van der Meer. The next stage is the fine tuning and editing of the document and setting it up for reproduction.

It is our intent to have the Fox Lake Plan available for review by the entire lake community by late June. Production will include a computer version which will be distributed to all those on its current email list by the Association. It is also expected that it will be posted for review on our new website at www.foxlakeassociation.org. For those of you who do not have access to email or to a computer, paper copies of the Fox Lake Plan will be available from several Association Board and Lake Plan Committee members. An Openhouse to provide the entire lake community with an opportunity to discuss their lake plan and offer any suggestions for changes to the document will be held on Saturday, July 4th from 1 to 3 pm at the home of Jack and Leslie van der Meer, located at 479 West Fox Lake Rd. This will be an informal drop-in session and all lake residents are welcome to attend. A final discussion of the Fox Lake Plan and a vote on its adoption will be a major agenda item at our Annual General Meeting at the home of Pat Currie, 180 Yael’s Nature Walk, on Saturday July 18th, starting at 2 pm.
